Rare prehistoric shark filmed alive in Japan:

Well, alive for a few hours, anyway - They think it may have been sick and that's why it was in such shallow water.

Still, it's a fascinating creature. Something right out if prehistory! I'm sad it died, but I'm happy the scientists will at least get a chance to study it and not some Japanese sushi chef!

yeah, i already read the article. i like nature when it slaps us in the face like this, and sharks are just awesome in general.
